This item was taken from a working computer, this item works as well.
Please note this item will only fit Intel Socket 775 which is an older socket.
This cooler has the push down & turn and push through motherboard holes method for the install process.....see photos
775 Socket usually is the Intel Core 2 duo or Dual Core, Core 2 Quad, Some Pentium 4's as well. Please google Intel socket 775
This cooler does not have the copper core which is recommended for the core 2 quad or Core 2 Extreme.
